Purple, Black and More

This week, I've been preoccupied with boredom and imagination. So, I took advantage and tried an experiment with my nails. And here's the "successful experiment":

Day 1
In my nail polishing routine, I never fail to apply moisturizing lotion all over my hands, except for my nails, just so my hands won't get dry on me. This is optional.
After I cleaned and buffed my nails, I applied OPI's Purple with a Purpose:

I usually apply two coats or until I don't see my nails transparently, but you have the option to apply more than two as you desire. I let it air dry for at least five to seven minutes and applied a top coat. I used OPI's Natural Nail Strengthener as a top coat just because my nails are prone to chipping, but you can also use OPI's Top Coat or any top coat you want.

After I applied the top coat, I let it air dry for the whole day and night.

Day 2
For the french-manicure look, I used my favorite brand Kiss. Kiss ultimately never disappoints me. So far, they have the best products you could ever find when it comes to nails. I used Kiss's Tip Guides French Manicure for my nail tips:

I applied one strip to each nail, securing them on the sides so it won't accidently peel off while applying the french nail polish color. And by the way, the reason why I waited until the next day to do this technique is because the Tip Guides might peel off the nail polish, in this case, the purple nail polish, so I really recommend to let it air dry for 24 hours.
The french nail polish color I used in this segment is Kiss's Black with a thin brush:

The thin brush made it easier for me to apply it on my tips. This is again optional. You may use the regular brush if you want. After I applied the Black nail polish on my tips, I let it air dry for another five to seven minutes.
For the glitter effect on the tips, I used Kiss's Silver Glitter with a thin brush:

I applied a thin coat of the Silver Glitter right under the Tip Guide strips. Again, let it air dry for five to seven minutes. I highly recommend to let it air dry because once you peel off the strips, the glitter won't peel with it and the glitter won't spread around when you apply the top coat.
Once it's dry, peel off the strips on each nails. For the flower part on my middle finger, I used Kiss's 3D Tip and Toe Art:

You can put the flower on every nail if you want, but I chose the middle finger only. You can either use your fingers or a tweezer to stick it on your nail. Once I sticked the flower, I applied the top coat on my nails including the one with the flower. Make sure to really put a medium amount on the tips so it will protect it from scratches or what not. Let it air dry and you are done!
