MAC Dazzleglass Lipgloss

Yes! My favorite subject! Lipgloss! I am kind of obsessed with lipgloss, I think. I can't really deny it. It's one of my guilty pleasures. I think it started when one day, my lips were dry during the winter, and I was really uncomfortable. I didn't want to talk that much because I was afraid my lips were going to be chapped and bleed. That's the other reason why I hate winter. It's those dry lips! So, I began to shop around, and my first lipgloss was from Victoria's Secret. It was my lifesaver. From then on, I continued to stock up some lipglosses. You probably wouldn't believe it, but I do have one in my purse (from Victoria's Secret), one in my wristlet (from Victoria's Secret), one on my desk (from Victoria's Secret), and two extras in my make up bag, just in case (from MAC, which are pictured above). I apply lipgloss before and after I eat a meal or snack, after my teeth and mouth hygiene, after I shower, right before going to bed, after I gargle in the morning, and whenever I feel like my lips are dry. Haha! I know, crazy!

MAC Dazzleglass color: Steppin' Out
Clean yellow pink with red pearl.
I apply this lipgloss over my MAC Viva Glam Gaga lipstick or MAC Chatterbox lipstick. It may also be applied alone.

MAC Dazzleglass color: Bare Necessity
Apricot with red and gold pearl.
I apply it on top of MAC High Tea lipstick. It may also be applied alone.

MAC Lustre Drops

MAC Lustre Drops is a highlighter. It is applied on top of cheek bones to have that shimmery glow. It was from the Beach Collection and is obviously applied during the summer. It can also be mixed with foundation. Two to three drops are enough. This product cost around $20.00. They were limited edition, but may be out again this summer. It may be applied with your fingers, a brush, or a sponge. It is a liquid consistency mixed with shimmers. They had two shades: Pink Rebel and Sun Rush. Pink Rebel is slightly pink-toned peach and Sun Rush is a golden peach color. The one I have now is the Sun Rush and I only used it about three times last summer.

MAC Concealer

Concealer is very important especially if you want to cover up blemishes, dark circles under the eyes, and any dark spots on your face. I routinely apply the concealer after I apply my foundation primer. I use a concealer brush and some uses their hands. It's really up to you, but I do recommend using a concealer brush to blend for an even looking skin. MAC Select Moisturecover Concealer cost $16.50. This particular concealer is mixed with moisturizer so your face won't get dry during the day.

MAC Lipstick

For a girl who only uses lipgloss, I had the guts to buy three of MAC's lipsticks. For my friends who knows me, yes, I do own lipsticks. This could be shocking to them, but hey, why not try them out? At first, I was very skeptical about lipstick. I thought they were ugly on me and I've always thought that lipstick is only for old people. Crazy right? But one particular make up guru have motivated me to try it out. If it looks good on her, it may be good on me. I thought positively and that's how it came about. It was pretty impressive when I tried each one on. It was not that bad. I routinely apply the lipstick and end it with a same-color lipgloss to enhance the color of the lipstick even better.

Lipstick Shade: Chatterbox
It's a bright red-pink color for $14.50

Lipstick Shade: Viva Glam Gaga
It's a light pink color that makes your lips look sexy. Meow! Priced for $14.50

Lipstick Shade: High Tea
It's beige pink. If you want a natural looking lips, this is it! Priced for $14.50

MAC Eyeshadow Base

Eyeshadow base enhances the eyeshadow's color. It also makes eyeshadows glide easily on the lids. You can apply it on bare skin or on top of a primer and foundation. I use my fingers to apply it on my lids, but it may be applied with a brush or a sponge. MAC's eyeshadow base may also be used as a blush or a highlighter. It cost $16.50 and they have various colors from white to dark brown. I bought the shade of Hush. Though, I do recommend not to put too much on the lids as it may cause the eyeshadows to crease.

MAC Eyeshadow Primer

Eyeshadow Primer is almost the same as a foundation primer. Of course, the only difference is that this is built for the eyes. It also lets eyeshadows stay longer and, it may be used under concealer. MAC's Prep and Prime costs $16.50. I am in the shade of Light. They also have medium and medium dark available. I apply the primer using my fingers onto my eyelids after using a moisturizer. You may also use a brush. What ever you prefer.

MAC Bronzing Powder

The MAC Bronzing Powder I use is under the name called Bronze. It was purchased for $23.00. You  may apply the bronzing powder anywhere you may need it, but I routinely apply it right under the cheek bones, slightly on top of my nose, light sways on my forehead, and lightly around my chin area to show the shape of my face. I regularly apply it as a bronzing powder, but I also randomly use it as a blush by choice, since I do have a medium colored skin.

MAC Palettes

I bought the eyeshadow refill pans and palettes separately. The palette itself costs $6.00 each for four eyeshadows, and $14.00 each for fifteen eyeshadows. The eyeshadow refill pans cost $11.00 each. You can customize your own palettes with different kinds of eyeshadows. Eyeshadows vary from matte to shimmer finishes.

Swatches from left to right: Deep Truth, Moon's Reflection, Star Violet, and Swimming. I usually use Deep Truth and Star Violet for smokey eye effect. And I use the Moon's Reflection and Swimming as a first layer eyeshadow.

Swatches from left to right: Gesso, Pink Freeze, Cranberry, and Gleam. Cranberry is also nice for the smokey eye effect and the rest, I use them for a first layer eyeshadow as well.
